Playing with a party
Playing together starts with one invitation. You don’t have to choose or remember a party name, and each player can belong to one party at a time.
Invite a player
Section titled “Invite a player”Enter this in chat, replacing <player> with the online player’s name:
/party invite <player>If you don’t have a party, this creates one and makes you, the sender, its leader. The invited player receives a message.
Accept an invitation
Section titled “Accept an invitation”The invited player enters:
/party acceptNo party name is needed for the normal invitation flow. This also avoids relying on party-name autocomplete on Bedrock.
Manage the group
Section titled “Manage the group”| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/party |
Shows your party’s status. |
/party invite <player> |
Invites another online player. |
/party promote <player> |
Lets the leader pass leadership to a member. |
/party leave |
Leaves your current party. |
Share the tavern
Section titled “Share the tavern”Party members use the same party tavern. The leader manages the dungeon choice and group controls. Joining a party does not mean you can skip a dungeon’s admission rules.
Can I play alone?
Section titled “Can I play alone?”Yes. You can play and progress alone. Parties are an option for people who want company, rather than a requirement for obtaining rewards.
