60 seconds · 100% application chance. Increases mining and attack speed; it does not grant area mining.

Can remove a random harmful status effect. Effects excluded by the item’s removal rules are retained.

Eating and client controls

Hold the item and use it until consumption finishes. On Java, hold right-click; on Bedrock, hold the assigned use control. It can be consumed even when the hunger bar is full. Aim away from interactive blocks if using it opens a block or places an ingredient instead.

Food rules are applied by the server on both clients. Custom status artwork can differ on Bedrock; the effect names above identify the registered behavior.
